An ongoing debate between scholars and other interested parties in texts which have or could have interest to forensic linguistics. These include texts/language samples which have featured in civil and criminal cases, directions by judges to juries, the use of legal language, things politicians have said, political reporting by journalists, matters relating to voice recognition, etc.
